What is CCPA?
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) declares that companies must inform consumers about how their data is being used and empowers consumers to decide how or if their data is shared. Specifically, consumers have the right to access, delete, and opt-out of having their data sold to third parties. The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) applies to most companies performing business with California businesses or employees as of January 2020.
