We are excited to announce that customers can now streamline their Trust Center document request management with Secureframe's new Zapier application. This integration allows organizations to create custom rules and automate Trust Center document requests and notifications seamlessly, reducing the time and effort spent on managing these processes so you and your team can focus on more critical tasks.

Now, organizations using Trust Center can leverage:

  • Time savings: Automating tasks like approving document requests and sending notifications using Zapier templates reduces the need for manual intervention, allowing your team to focus on more strategic activities.
  • Better customer experience: By automating document requests, you can respond to customers more quickly. For example, you can set up custom rules like a check in Salesforce or HubSpot to automatically approve document requests for certain contacts, ensuring that your customers receive the documents they need without delay.
  • Real-time notifications: With Zapier, you can post new request notifications to a Slack channel, keeping your team informed in real-time.

Getting started with Secureframe and Zapier

To begin, navigate to your Trust Center settings in Secureframe and click "Request automation.” If you already have a Zapier account, you can log in and start creating your integration immediately. Use the search bar to explore Zapier’s extensive library of over 7,000 applications to connect with Secureframe.

Getting Started with Secureframe Starter Templates on Zapier

Secureframe offers pre-built starter templates for popular applications such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Slack. These templates are designed to get you up and running within 5-10 minutes. Simply click on a workflow template in your Trust Center settings to get started, or log into Zapier.com to start configuring your Trust Center integrations. These templates simplify the setup process, enabling you to automate Trust Center operations quickly and easily.

Follow these steps to get started with Secureframe's starter templates on Zapier:

  1. Create an API key: Go to Company settings in Secureframe and click on the "API Keys" tab to create an API key. Follow the prompts, then copy and paste the key into the Zapier authentication window.
  2. Configure your zap: Once authenticated, you can start creating your Zaps. Use the pre-built templates to automate common tasks or customize your own workflows to fit your specific needs.
  3. Incorporate a delay: In the “Request automation” settings, incorporate a delay to give the Zapier automation a chance to make a decision on the request and only email your Trust Center admins when the workflow was not able to approve it.

Streamline security processes with Trust Center today

By leveraging the power of Secureframe and Zapier, you can streamline your document request processes, improve efficiency, and provide a better experience for your customers.

We continually update our Trust Center to better meet our customers' needs. Last week, we also introduced:

  • Updated section content layout options: Choose to see Compliance, Resources, and Subprocessors sections in either a list or grid view. The list view is better for scrolling through large amounts of content, while the grid view offers a more visual layout. A "View All" option appears for sections with 10 or more items, leading to a detailed page with a full list of searchable content.
  • Bulk import of sub-processors: If using the updated third-party risk management experience, you can now import sub-processors directly from your vendor list in Secureframe, saving time by automatically including vendor names, descriptions, and logos. You can also update or swap logos and modify vendor details within the Secureframe app.
