What is an Approved Training Provider (ATP)?

An Approved Training Provider (ATP), formerly known as a Licensed Training Provider (LTP), is an organization authorized by CAICO to develop and deliver official CMMC training courses. These providers offer curriculum developed by Approved Publishing Partners (APPs) or approved by The Cyber AB to train CMMC assessors. Since they are responsible for developing trained CMMC Assessors who will work for the C3PAO organizations to assess CMMC compliance for Organizations Seeking Certification (OSC), ATPs play a critical role in the CMMC ecosystem.
